Founded as Taiwan’s first all-male dance company in December 2004, both choreographers and directors of the comoany Wu-kang CHEN and Wei-chia SU have already established a distinctive profile through evocative physical movements and unlimited collaborative creativities that are very unique to their generation. The company’s logo is a Chinese character made of three horses, indicating their strong motivation, explosive energy and deep-felt passion for dance.
「驫舞劇場」成立於2004年，是台灣第一支全男子舞團。由熱愛舞蹈、跳舞及編舞的兩位中生代編舞者陳武康、蘇威嘉分別擔任舞團藝術總監和團長。成立之初，希望「驫」能呈現編舞者對於當代城市的男性身體之美的觀察，跳出新生代男性身體的性格與氣質，反映時代的變遷與美學的差異。在普遍陰盛陽衰的台灣舞壇，創造獨樹一格的舞蹈語彙外，透過作品展線新生代編舞者與舞者的多元創意與活力，宣示舞蹈新勢力的正式成軍。目前固定駐團的編舞、聲音、音樂創作者：黃懷德、劉冠詳、鄭皓、李世揚及澎葉生(Yannick Dauby)。
「驫舞劇場」旨在提供新、中生代舞蹈創作者一個發聲平台和創意空間。除了定期展演台灣新銳優秀的編舞者作品外，更將藉由定期邀請台灣及海外的藝術工作者，進行駐團創作，透過創作過程中產生的相互刺激與吸收，使作品呈現出更為「多變」、「多面向」且「風格多元」的作品。

Wei-Chia SU 蘇威嘉
Wu-Kang Chen was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and started dancing at the age of 12. When he was 16, he was offered a placeat the National Taiwan College of Arts and in 1999 won the Golden Medal at Taiwan's Council of Cultural Affairs "Creative Dance Competition." After graduating, he received an award from Taiwan's National Culture and Arts Foundation to study in New York. Chen joined Eliot Eeld's Ballet Tech Company in 2001 where he became a soloist the following year. In 2005, he co-founded HORSE and created Who & Memories for the company. in 2007, he choreographed and performed in Velocity, which was awarded the Taishin Arts Award for 2007, and was invited to the Joyce Theatre in New York the following year. HORSE has toured to China, Singapore and Germany. Chen performed with Eliot Feld's MANDANCE PROJECT in New York and has been serving as Artistic Director for HORSE in Taiwan.

Wei-Chia Su is graduated from National Taiwan University of Arts. He co-founded HORSE in 2005, and has created numerous works for the company such as Stairs, Velocity, Bones, Growing Up I, Successor and 2 Men. In addition to working with HORSE, Wei-Chia has performed with Taipei Ballet, Kaohsiung City Ballet and the Taipei-based Century Contemporary Dance Company. He has twice been invited to choreograph at Taiwan's Asian Young Choreographers Project. In 2009, Wei-Chia was invited to New York, to perform with Ballet Tech in a new ballet piece by Eliot Feld called The Spaghetti Ballet. Meanwhile, Feld has also choreographed two solos for Wei-Chia.

保送進入國立藝術專科學校舞蹈科，於1999年獲得了舞躍大地舞蹈創作比賽金牌獎，2001年獲得國家文化藝術基金會獎助赴紐約進修，同年加入 Feld's Ballet Tech.，並於隔年成為獨舞者，並與編舞家Eliot Feld展開長期合作關係。 2004年，和一群志同道合的舞蹈愛好者共同創立驫舞劇場。2008年共同創作作品《速度》獲得了第六屆台新藝術獎。2009年擔任聽障奧運開幕舞蹈設計。2011共同創作作品《繼承者》入選卓越計劃。2012年表演工作坊演出丁乃箏導演舞台劇作品《 這是真的》。2014年受邀國家表演藝術中心兩廳院自製節目1+1雙舞作創作《裝死》。共同創作作品《兩男關係》獲得2013年德國Kurt Jooss國際編舞大獎首獎及最佳觀眾票選獎。2014獲ACC亞洲文化協會赴紐約駐村。

台灣高雄人，於2004年與陳武康、周書毅等人共組驫舞劇場，於驫舞劇場創作 共同創作 / 演出《M_dans》、《樓梯》、《速度》（台新藝術獎第六屆表演藝術類大獎）、《骨》、《正在長高》、《M_Dans 2010》、《我》、《繼承者》I / II / III、《兩男關係》（德國柯特尤斯編舞大賽首獎）、《馬上三人》、《裝死》; 2009至2012年獲邀美國編舞大師Eliot Feld邀請，量身打造《三幕中場休息芭蕾》並參與其舞團演出;2011年底開始獨立進行以《FreeSteps》為題的編舞計畫至今。
